Add a home game to your schedule.  We will be playing Channel Islands (Varsity & JV) on Wednesday, March 26.

We were lucky and were able to play both games before the rain came.  Cassie Pascoe-Pierce had a couple hits including a triple and Katelynn Kaufman homered in the Varsity games.  In the JV games, Corinne Yingling pitched both games and Jessie Jimenez did a great job in her first games behind the plate.  We have 4 days of practice to get ready for our opener, Friday at home against Hueneme.

What: Field Day

 When: 11:00, Sunday, February 24.

 Where: Softball Fields

 Who: All parents and players and anyone else who wants to help

 Come out and help make our fields as best as possible for both players and fans.  We need to spread dirt, bark, pick up rocks, clean and paint.

Welcome back from vacation Royals!

The first day of spring practice begins on January 22nd.  We will be practicing during 4th period and conditioning after school.  Official practice begins February 11, weekdays from 2:00 - 4:30 pm.

Try-outs will be Wednesday, January 16th at 3:30 and during 4th period after January 22nd for Winter sports.

For all game dates, see the 2008 Schedule. Note that there is a league game the first Friday of Spring Break. The second week of Spring Break has no games.

Bishop is not participating in the Fall League.  The New Fall Schedule (PDF) is updated with the changes.

Practices continue at 5pm on Wednesdays.

Remember that San Marcos coaches cannot coach San Marcos players outside of school hours until February.

Fall Ball is here. Games will be Sundays at Dos Pueblos High School. Practices will be Wednesdays at 5pm at San Marcos. Here is what you need to do to play.

1. Download & Fill out the application (MS Word). You only need to fill out your name, address, emergency contact info and have your parents sign it.
2. Return the application and bring $60 (cash or check made out to San Marcos Softball) to me by THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27.

Games begin Sunday, September 30th.

Practice begins Wednesday, September 26th.

Welcome to the home of San Marcos Softball!  The goal of this website is to provide players, parents and fans information about the San Marcos softball program. We are coming off a great 2007 campaign and I am looking forward to 2008 with 11 returning Varsity players including 4 on the All-Channel League team. I have posted a Preliminary Schedule for the upcoming season, but still have 6 more games to add (Notice the spring break dates - I do not plan to add any additional games over the break). As soon as I have more information about games I will update the schedule. Also, we will be holding try-outs for incoming freshman during the month of September. If you are new to San Marcos High School and are interested in softball, stop by my classroom (Room H4A). If you have any questions, please email or call. I look forward to hearing from you.
